What is new on the 2027 Chevy Traverse?
Chevrolet calls the 2027 Traverse "four refreshed designs," so treat it as a styling and equipment update rather than a new generation. The changes are two new paint colors, a new Oregon seat color on the Z71, power-folding second- and third-row seats now standard on the RS, and redesigned High Country badging.
If you drove a 2026 Traverse, the 2027 will feel familiar from the driver's seat. The 2.5L turbo and 8-speed carry over, the 17.7-inch screen is still standard, and the cabin layout is unchanged.
What moved is the trim walk. The RS now folds its rear rows flat at the touch of a button instead of by hand, which is the difference between a two-minute job and a thirty-second one when you are loading a stroller and a cooler at Lake Rim Park.
